Title:  Supply Chain Risk & Compliance Manager

Job Purpose

  • The Supply Chain Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive risk and compliance framework within the supply chain to ensure all processes align with legal and ethical standards, thereby safeguarding organizational integrity and operational resilience

Main Scope/Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Risk Management Framework:
    Design and deploy a robust supply chain risk management framework tailored to anticipate, identify, and respond to internal and external risks
  • Risk Identification and Analysis: Proactively identify potential risks affecting supply chain operations, including legal, regulatory, financial, and operational risks.
    Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and prioritize based on potential impact and likelihood
  • Mitigation Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and controls to manage identified risks to acceptable levels.
    Regularly review and adjust strategies in response to new risks or changes in the operational environment
  • Compliance and Control System Oversight: Establish and maintain an up-to-date SCM control plan, including reviewing and updating policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
    Ensure supply chain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Training and Awareness Programs: Lead educational initiatives to enhance risk and compliance awareness among supply chain stakeholders, promoting a culture of integrity and ethical behavior.
    Provide ongoing training and support to ensure all employees understand their compliance responsibilities
  • Audit and Reporting: Serve as the primary supply chain contact for internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
    Prepare reports for senior management outlining risk exposure, compliance breaches, and the status of risk mitigation efforts
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage regularly with internal partners, including PPMs, Material Managers, and Contract Managers, to align risk management strategies across the supply chain.
    Liaise with the Compliance Committee, Risk and Audit Departments, and SCM Systems & Performance teams to coordinate and communicate compliance issues and solutions

  • Bac+4/5 
  • Curricula: Engineering, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Supply Chain Management

Global Experience

  • Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience

  • 10 years of a combined risk management and procurement experience .
