Title:  Senior PDS implementation Engineer/ Specialist

Job Purpose

The Senior PDS Implementation Engineer / Specialist will be responsible for driving the implementation of few digital systems by collaborating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders. He will also manage his portfolio of initiatives, ensuring a good understanding of Business requirements, build the project plan (project schedule, staffing, budget estimation, change management, etc.), monitor and report project's progress. This role acts as a referent and oversees other team members within PDS.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

  • System Implementation: Manage all activities for new system implementations, including market analysis for solution selection, contract negotiation, and driving implementation activities. Oversee the process from defining technical and functional requirements to configuration testing, integrations, data migration, and Go-live preparation.

  • Business Requirements Analysis & Documentation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze their needs and objectives. Translate these into functional specifications for technical teams, create detailed process maps and workflows, and maintain accurate project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

  • Change Management: Assess the impact of digital projects on organizational processes, roles, and people. Develop and execute change adoption strategies, communication plans, and training programs. Monitor progress, address issues, and evaluate the effectiveness of change management actions.

  • Project Monitoring & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with product owners on project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Assist in planning, estimation, resource allocation, and monitoring progress. Conduct thorough testing to ensure solutions meet specified requirements, participate in user acceptance testing, and validate implemented solutions.

  • Team & Vendor Management: Allocate tasks effectively among team members, ensuring equitable workload distribution and quality deliverables. Act as the single point of contact with vendors, facilitating smooth operations, resolving issues, and ensuring project milestones are met. Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.

  • Compliance & Process Optimization: Ensure project execution adheres to departmental standards, frameworks, and JESA policies. Provide oversight and reporting to steering committees, facilitate transparent communication, and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency.

  • Digital Culture Development: Contribute to fostering a digital culture through initiatives like developing frameworks, methodologies, team values, and organizing digital events.

Education

  • Education (Bachelor/Master/PhD): Bac+5
  • Curricula (Arts, Sciences,…): Engineering / Business Administration

Global Experience

  • Global Experience (number of years): 4 to 6 years

Specific Experience in the position

  • 4 years of experience minimum including 2 years in solution implementation, project management and change management.
