Title:  Senior Manager, Digital Execution

Job Purpose

The Senior Digital Execution Manager, part of the Project/Program Management Team, is responsible for defining and implementing the digital execution strategy across projects with the purpose of significantly improviong project performance and delivering high quality information to the client team. They ensure alignment with customer requirements, set and track digital goals and use cases, manage resources, oversee progress, resolve issues, and ensure consistency in digital execution. They act as the primary contact for all technology and digital aspects of the project.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

Digital Strategy Development and Execution: Develops a comprehensive digital strategy for flawless project execution, mobilizes resources, tracks progress, resolves issues, and manages trade-offs to ensure successful project completion.

Goal Setting: Defines digital goals aligned with performance drivers, contractual strategy, and client requirements, and develops the strategy to achieve these objectives.

Project Initiation Support: Supports the Program/Project Manager by preparing the Digital Execution Strategy, Project Information Management Plan, and system setup architecture, and providing input to the Project Execution Plan.

Collaboration with Teams: Works closely with project management and functional teams across all disciplines to deliver the digital scope according to plans, ensuring compliance with digital requirements.

Digital Scope Management: Manages the digital scope throughout the project lifecycle, including system requirements, architecture, data integrations, and digital workflows from design to handover.

Information Management: Establishes and manages client asset information needs and project information requirements, ensuring smooth information flow through policies, strategies, and procedures.

Data Quality Control: Leads data quality reviews, enforces data change processes, and conducts regular assessments to meet project data quality objectives.

Document and Data Handover: Oversees the management of document and data systems, ensuring accurate digital communication and meeting client requirements for handover.

3D Model Coordination: Ensures efficient 3D model setup and coordination, resolves design issues, and meets project and client model information requirements.

Digital Use Cases Implementation: Oversees the execution of digital use cases, coordinating resources from different departments for digital reporting, automation, AR/VR reviews, and more.

Data Integration: Manages the integration of data flows to support digital reporting, AWP implementation, and other data-centric execution requirements.

Leadership and Coordination: Leads all aspects of digital execution, serves as the main point of contact, manages customer liaison, and oversees project supervision and coordination.

Team Education and Compliance: Ensures project teams understand and comply with the Digital Execution Plan, promoting adoption of new processes and technologies.

Client Engagement: Promotes the digital strategy to the client, ensuring alignment with their needs and demonstrating the value of digital approaches.

Subcontractor Compliance: Enforces digital execution requirements on subcontractors, ensuring their integration into the overall digital strategy.

Operational Management: Manages resources supporting digital execution, including administrators, model coordinators, and data analysts, overseeing performance, budgets, staffing, and schedules.

Expertise Sourcing and Workshare Coordination: Engages with global experts and coordinates workshare activities to ensure compliance with project standards and objectives.

  • Education (Bachelor/Master/PhD): Bac+4 / Bac+5 
  • Curricula (Arts, Sciences,…): Engineering / Business Administration

Global Experience

  • Global Experience (number of years): More than 10 years 

Specific Experience in the position

  • A seasoned professional with at least 8 years of project experience in leadership roles within operations or functions, including project management, risk management, quality, procurement, or construction.
  • Has over 3 years of expertise in document and data management, with a strong understanding of cross-discipline work, interfaces, and sequencing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead autonomously and manage multiple teams, projects, or disciplines for over 2 years.
  • Ideally experienced with ISO19650, Open BIM, and BIM Management.
