Title:  Senior Geotechnical andGeological Engineer/Specialist

Job Purpose

1. Propose integrated solutions; make and validate technical plans, design layouts, and written reports together with the engineers; share his/her expertise with the teams and conduct a design team for technical tasks   
2. Carry out independently tasks with respect to the time, budget, and required quality performance in the production of engineering design solutions in accordance with project objectives and requirements

Main Scope/Responsibilities

• Verify the compliance with the specification and execution plan
• Analyze customer's requests and propose solutions, makes matrix analysis of different technical solutions, and advise for the best option
• Validate detailed designs, plans done by designers. Make complex designs (execution designs based on calculation notes). 
• Participate to technical meetings internally and with customers 
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert: guiding associate and specialist engineers; advice for the choice of method of execution; share his expertise with other teams
• Supervise and writes calculation notes that will be validated by engineer
• Supervise and establish quantity and cost estimates that will be validated by the engineer
• Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, partners and clients, and contribute to the marketing of the company to potential customers
• Taskforce to decide in decision-making for complex studies
• Preparation of technical and financial proposals in response to calls for tenders or orders
• Observation of all company Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental commercial and project management disciplines and procedures, as relevant to tasks undertaken

Education

• Bac +4 or more
• Curricula: Geology, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering

• 10-15 years
