Title: Principal PDS implementation Engineer/ Specialis
Job Purpose
The Principal Digital Projects Delivery Engineer/Specialist will be responsible for driving the elaboration and implementation digitalization RoadMap of specific project delivery departements by collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including Product Owners, Project teams, Functional teams, and Business Subject Matter Experts. In particular, he will be responsible for the successful roll-out of new systems and processes in close collaboration with the Product Owners & project stakeholders. This includes designing, implementing and improving an adoption strategy for digital systems.
Main Scope/Responsibilities

Digitalization Roadmap Development: Collaborate in creating a comprehensive digitalization roadmap for departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the overall digital transformation strategy.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Support functional teams in articulating system implementation needs, work closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and challenges, and translate these into clear functional specifications.

Project Management & Monitoring: Assist in project monitoring, scheduling, budget tracking, and performance management. Provide regular updates, present findings, and facilitate decision-making in governance committees.

System Implementation: Collaborate with product owners to define project scope and deliverables, support during the procurement and implementation phases, including configuration, testing, integrations, and Go-live preparations. Identify and optimize work process changes impacted by new systems.

Change Management & Scale-Up: Define system scale-up strategies and associated change management plans, monitor system adoption, and report on budgetary and organizational impacts.

Process Optimization & Documentation: Identify and recommend process improvements, maintain accurate project documentation, and ensure delivered solutions meet specified requirements.

Team Management: Allocate tasks effectively, monitor workload, ensure quality of deliverables, and support team growth. Plan for staffing needs and participate in recruitment processes.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely project milestones. Facilitate issue resolution and escalate when necessary.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensure project execution adheres to departmental standards and JESA policies. Provide oversight and transparent communication to steering committees throughout the project lifecycle.

Digital Culture Initiatives: Lead internal initiatives to develop a digital culture, including frameworks, team values, and digital events.
Education
- Education (Bachelor/Master/PhD): Bac+4 / Bac+5
- Curricula (Arts, Sciences,…): Engineering / Business Administration
Global Experience
Global Experience (number of years): 6 to 8 years
Specific Experience in the position
- 3 years minimum in industrial project management, including 1 to 2 years as a Project Manager, Project Engineer or Project control function
- 2 years with exposure to information systems implementation projects
