Title:  Network IT Engineer

Job Purpose

The Network Engineer is responsible for the design/administration of Network and Firewall infrastructure, and all similar products.  This includes installation, maintenance, support, and monitoring. He/she mainly focuses on operations and business continuity activities, and network Availability. He/she works closely and collaborates with other team members located worldwide, to provide the best service. 

Main Scope/Responsibilities

• Install and configure equipment (router, switch, firewall, WAN Accelerator, Wireless …)
• Manage operations and business continuity through incident and problem solving, and change management. This is mainly 2nd level support and can go up to 3rd level
• Contribute to design and improve Network and Security Infrastructure on some specific cases.
• Contribute to technical projects  
• Ensuring availability to all system users and Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations
• Monitoring the network systems to improve performance

Education

• Engineering Degree
• Curricula: Computers sciences- Security and Network fields

Global Experience

• 3 years minimum

Specific Experience in the position

• 1-2 years minimum
• Experience with Computer systems and networks is necessary accompanied by up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the employer’s business and industry needs, as well as the technical demands
• Good knowledge in WAN/LAN/Wireless/FH
• Good knowledge in Network mainly Cisco
