Title:  Internal Communication Specialist

Job Purpose

The Internal Communications Specialist supports the implementation of JESA’s internal communications strategy, He/ she is the main contact for all Internal communications requests in consistent with JESA's vision, mission, strategy, priorities, values, and results …with the objective to improve employee awareness, understanding, ownership, and engagement.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

  • Contribute to implementing the internal communications strategy:  work in close partnership with the managing Director, Human Resources, external communications, BU's, and Leadership to execute communications initiatives from concept to delivery. Provide effective communication of relevant corporate information to staff and ensure that is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision. Support the company key initiatives (Town Halls, in touch meeting, events and campaigns...). Coordinate, deliver and evaluate events, workshops and corporate activities to maximise engagement outcomes and feedback.             
  • Support the delivery of innovative communication solutions:  Draft key messages for target audiences and publish timely company information, using internal communications channels, write and edit copy (ranging from news reports and features to interviews and letter text) for various publications and materials (both print and online), manage the development of the intranet and its content - proofing, editing and posting articles, research and develop quotes from people, write stories, shoot videos...    Implement, develop and project manage a range of internal communication activities and initiatives and support the consistent use of the brand JESA  
  • Internal Communications channels management and improvement: manage the company’s internal communications channels in all JESA sites: maintain the editorial calendar (blogs, newsletters etc) and establish new channels using the full range of tools including but not limited to newsletters, events, intranet, yammer, videos…            
  • Enhance JESA digital communication: work in close partnership with internal stakeholders to support and animate JESA's internal social media communications (Yammer...) to deliver a strong employee value proposition, build on existing networks and develop relevant contacts throughout the organisation to support internal communications, ensure ease of access to communications, clarity and consistency of messages across all communications channels.            
  • Provide employee communication advice, encourage employees to champion internal communications, provide advice to employees regarding JESA's branding and identity.            
  • Measure and report the impact of internal communications:  Gauge reactions to internal communications, messages and channels, measure and present results of communication efforts, initiate surveys and get feedback to recommend and implement new initiatives.            

Education

  • Masters Degree in Communications
  • Curricula: Communications or Human Resource
