Title:  HR Generalist

Job Purpose

As an HR Generalist, you will be supporting the HR Manager or HR Business Partner in the day-to-day needs in order to deliver the HR mission within the assigned organizational scope supporting the achievement of business objectives. The HR Generalist is involved in key HR projects, and will work on a daily basis with employees and organizational leaders to answer their requests and understand their needs.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

  • Ensure close partnership with managers and employees: for the assigned organizational scope to understand their needs and answer their requests, work with the organizational leaders to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives, build strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure cooperation and communication, enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying for new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities, Advises, mentors/coaches and guides employees and front-line leaders to develop positive employee engagement capability and leadership skills and address performance management issue, Proactively identifies opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with management to develop and implement innovative and lasting solutions.
  • Support and ensure the deployment of the HR needs and key initiatives: Exerts influence to create positive change culture regarding HR key initiatives, support functional leaders on a variety of topics but not limited to execution of internal mobility, staffing, follow up on employment contracts, hiring and onboarding, exit process and exit interviews, and other needs as identified by the functional managers and the HR Manager, Work with the organizational leaders to implement and adopt HR programs: performance reviews, people & talent reviews, salary reviews, development of Skills Matrix, career paths definition, development programs (mentoring, recognition programs…), Inclusion and Diversity programs, conduct ad-hoc quality checks on HR-related topics  (ex: job descriptions, annual goals setting and completion…) and ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Play a superuser role for HRIS: Serves as Level 1 support for day-to-day system's requests and issues, develop training material, and lead training & coaching sessions for all relevant internal stakeholders for the assigned scope on the operation of the system, 
  • Ensure close collaboration with HR operations: Ensure HRIS data is updated for the assigned scope, followup on HR operations actions (contracts, terminations, internal mobility…)
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics: Such as time to hire and employee turnover rates and prepare the HR reporting for assigned scope (HR dashboard, Ad Hoc reporting request…)
  • Assist with a wide variety of HR activities upon request from the manager beyond your assigned scope when required

Education

  • Bac +4/5
  • Curricula: Human Resources, Business Administration/Management or Labor Law

Global Experience

  • 4 to 7 years

Specific Experience in the position

  • A minimum of 4 to 5 years in an HR generalist/HR Professional experience in talent management, and HR operations, within a multinational or large-sized organization.
  • Experience of working with senior management and employees across multiple sites is beneficial and experience in coaching and supporting teams
