Title: Cost Controller
Job Purpose
The Cost Level II role is to work in One or Different small to medium projects, under moderate supervision and generally reports directly to the Project Manager, the Project Controls Manager or the more senior cost engineer. The Cost Engineer uses established systems and procedures to manage all or part of a project cost control function including establishing budgets, capturing commitments and expenditures, generating forecasts, and preparing analyses and reports.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
- Assist during work-hour and staff forecasting with input from leads and Project Manager in different projects
- Participate in Earned Value data analysis & reporting in different projects
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports in different projects
- Assist in the cash flow development, analysis, & reporting in different projects
- Assist when conducting special cost studies and prepare analysis in different projects
- Assist when forecasting the estimate to complete based on an independent analysis of progress, productivity, work remaining and current commitments
- Assist in the preparation of Margin Analysis and contingency
Education
- BA or BS or equivalent related experience
- Curricula: Arts, Sciences, Finance

- 2 years minimum
