Title:  Quality Assurance Manager - AM

Job Purpose

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the execution of Project is according to JESA Quality System and procedures,   and approved Project Quality Plan.  Acts as Quality Focal point  through all Project phases for all Quality related matters. Quality Assurance Manager is assigned to Large Epcm project, EPC Project, Program or Multi-projects (Epcm, PMC, Studies).

Main Scope/Responsibilities

  • Ensure  implementation of JESA QMS on project(s).
  • Set up and maintain Project Quality Plan as part of PEP in line with JESA and client quality management systems and ensures  it's effectively implemented. Develop and ensure  that Quality requirements are documented in Contracts, Project specifications etc
  • Escalate critical deviations to Program or BU Management team.
  • Ensure and support implementation of project or project phase initiation activities as per JESA Procedures.
  • Provide required training on JESA Procedures and Work processes to project teams
  • Ensure that Quality and Technical audits are planned at early start of project(s)
  • Conduct Quality Spot checks on Project deliverables to ensure conformance to Project requirements, applicable regulations and codes
  • Facilitate the implementation of VIPs (Value Improving Practices) such as Lessons learned, Value Engineering, Team Alignment, PDRI etc
  • Establish and assess applicable Quality requirements for Contractors/subcontractors’/suppliers’
  • Facilitate all Project Pass Gates and construction Readiness Reviews, ensure documentation of results
  • Conduct Quality audits as per the approved the plan
  • if needed, coordinate with Head Of QA and Operation Management of internal or third party peer reviews/Cold eyes reviews
  • Conduct Regular Client Satisfaction Surveys and ensure that needed improvement actions are developed for improving Client's satisfaction.
  • Drive the improvement of Quality Performance
  • Assist the JESA PM in addressing project issues or work  process improvements 
  • Monitor / analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and address trends or systemic issues.  Involve / inform Management regarding systemic Quality issues
  • Support analysis of Quality issues, definition of preventive/corrective actions and ensure are addressed in timely manner
  • Reports Quality data through Project Dashboard
  • Participates in Operations Project Reviews (OPRs), and Project Reviews with Client as needed
  • Assist PM/Program Management team in implementing project close-out 
  • Ensure that all QA records are maintained 
  • Champion of implementation of Value plus/sustainability plus 
  • Assist Sales for preparation of proposals
  • Participate in regular reviews at projects, 
  • Promote Quality through effective communication and proactive leadership

Education

  • Masters Degree / Engineering School (Bac +5)
  • Curricula: Engineering, Sciences

Global Experience

  • 8-12 years
