Title:  Project Control Specialist

Job Purpose

Generally functions as an assistant to the Project Controls Manager, performing Project Controls functions related to cost and/or schedule and assists in the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or an assignment. The PCS should work under a close supervision with guidance from the PCM/PM.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

  • Job purpose - detail missions:
    • To support on providing planning, scheduling, cost control, change control, EVM, project progress and performance analysis and reporting services to JESA Project Managers and Project Control Manager 
    • To assist to fulfil the project control requirements
    • To assist on day to day activities on small to medium projects 
    • To routinely report on the cost or the schedule and resource trends and forecasts on projects.
    • To assist in evaluating major changes in the assigned project. Assess potential cost and schedule impacts. 
    • To apply the procedure and WI  and provide technical support to PCM/PM
  • Main activities/Outcomes:
    • Project schedule and cost baseline frozen in agreed time frame
    • Project change management process established
    • Project controls plan in place
    • Organize Safety initiatives (SOR, Safety Discussion…) and risk assessment of work activities. Provide visible HSE leadership.
    • Liaise and educate project managers/directors to clarify project control related issues

Education

  • BA or BS or equivalent related experience
  • Curricula: Arts, Sciences, Finance

Global Experience

  • 2 years minimum
