Title:  Associate Security IT Engineer

Job Purpose

• Under the supervision of the Security Manager, the Associate Security Engineer will be in charge of Engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information. Identifying and defining system security requirements.
• Designing computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and publishes IT security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for enterprise computing platforms
• Conducts security reviews and risks assessments 
• Responds to and handles security-related incidents appropriately, This is mainly 2nd level support and can go up to 3rd level
• Develops and promotes IT security awareness programs
• Researches, evaluates, designs, tests, recommends, and plans implementation of new or improved information security software or devices
• Monitoring networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions

Education

• Engineering degree
• Curricula: Computers sciences - Security and Network fields
