Title:  Associate HSE Engineer

Job Purpose

Provide technnical support and expertise to assist with the implementation of the the JESA HSE Program on work sites.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing the JESA HSE Program (SPA, SOR, TMT, PTW, RHA,..)
• HSE assurance reviews (audits) on contractors on a periodic basis under the guidance of more senior HSE personnel, for example;
  • Inspects worksites to minimize worker exposure to harmful environmental factors and stresses.
  • Carry out Spot Checks for specific HSE compliance.
  • Participates in HSE Audits of Contractors carried out according to schedule.
• Provide or support HSE TBM & Inductions to JESA and Contractors personnel.   
• Provides content to campaigns, initiatives and communications as requested    
• Perform daily rounds on their areas and reportsall the HSE concerns to the HSE Supervisor/Manager       
• Takes direction from Senior HSE Professionals     

Education

• Engineering or Science degree or equivalent
• Curricula: Formal HSE qualification
