Title:  Associate Environmental Project Engineer

Job Purpose

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of environmental projects under the supervision of environmental project managers. This role involves supporting various project tasks, such as data collection, analysis, and report preparation. The assistant ensures that all project activities are carried out efficiently and accurately, helping to maintain project timelines and quality standards. They also provide logistical support during fieldwork and help in coordinating with other team members.

Main Scope/Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting environmental assessments, including fieldwork, data collection, and preliminary analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation in compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Support the planning and scheduling of environmental projects, ensuring timely execution of assigned tasks
• Collaborate with project team members to gather inputs and contribute to project deliverables
• Analyze collected data and identify potential environmental risks or impacts for review by senior team members
• Assist in developing mitigation strategies and solutions based on data findings and project objectives
• Maintain organized project records, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for audits and reviews
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to support permit applications and regulatory compliance activities
• Provide logistical support for field activities, ensuring equipment and resources are available
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging environmental regulations to enhance project outcomes.

• Engineer, Master’s degree, PhD.
